Southside Regional Medical Arts Pavilion
Petersburg, Virginia
This 2-story, 32,500 square foot Medical Office Building project is located on the campus of Southside Regional Medical Center in the heart of Petersburg, Virginia. The project commenced early first quarter of 2013 and gained it’s certificate of occupancy in October 2013. The new medical facility is home to a state-of-the-art Cancer Center, a fully digital Women’s Imaging Center, as well as general medical and obstetrical office space for physicians.
The Southside Regional Medical Arts Pavilion is home to SRMC’s new Cancer Center. With the collaboration of Virginia Cancer Institute (VCI), Southside Regional Medical Arts Pavilion offers oncology services ranging from imaging and examination, to infusion and radiation treatment. The pavilion has doubled the space available for these services and it houses state-of-the-art oncology treatment technology, including two Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and a GE LightSpeed 4D CT scanner.
In addition to the Cancer Center, a new Women’s Imaging Center has opened in the pavilion, offering Digital Mammography, Breast Ultrasound and Bone Density Screening (DEXA Scan). Tri-Cities OB/GYN, a four-physician practice offering obstetrical and gynecological services for the region, also calls Southside Regional Medical Arts Pavilion home.
The doors to the $10 million, two-story, 32,500 square foot medical office building are now open and the services are up and operating. The new facility is located adjacent to the hospital at 200 Medical Park Blvd. in Petersburg.
