The St. Joseph’s Westgate Medical Center Medical Office Building is a three-story, 62,000 SF medical office building on the campus of St. Joseph’s Westgate Medical Center in Glendale, AZ. In addition to the close proximity to Dignity Health’s new hospital, patients also enjoy access to the MOB’s state-of-the-art services that include an ambulatory surgery center, a diagnostics and imaging center, and a multi-specialty physician group on staff at St. Joseph’s.

During the development of the MOB, Rendina embraced Dignity’s ‘Hello humankindness’ initiative by integrating aspects of this campaign into the construction of the facility. Hello humankindness is dedicated to spreading civility and kindness throughout the nation by engaging and inspiring people to promote acts of human kindness within the healthcare industry and beyond.

To create a place for tranquility and peace, Rendina and Dignity collaborated on a Healing Garden that is strategically located between the new hospital and the MOB. Lush foliage, a small pond and bubbling fountain will bring tranquility and peace to the facility. Other features include native aromatic plants that attract birds, butterflies and other native species, shaded seating areas with comfortable benches and a labyrinth to provide a tool for personal, psychological and spiritual invigoration. Designed to be a place of respite, the garden will provide patients, visitors, and staff a chance to connect to each other and to nature.
