Rendina Healthcare Real Estate and Inspira Health celebrated the grand opening of Inspira Health Center Deptford, a new state of the art outpatient medical facility located in Deptford, New Jersey. The project marks Inspira Health’s 18th outpatient location and represents a significant milestone in the health system’s continued expansion of convenient, community-based care across South Jersey.
Located at 1450 Almonesson Road, directly across from the Deptford Mall and near Route 55, the 80,000 square foot facility was redeveloped from a former retail space into a modern, multi-specialty outpatient center designed to improve access to care while enhancing the patient experience.
Rendina served as the developer of the project and led the real estate strategy, site acquisition, planning, design coordination, and construction execution that transformed the former Dick’s Sporting Goods building into a comprehensive healthcare destination.
“At Rendina, grand openings are a special opportunity to celebrate the realization of our clients’ vision,” said Richard M. Rendina, Chief Executive Officer of Rendina Healthcare Real Estate. “Inspira’s leadership team, including Amy Mansue and Warren Moore, demonstrated tremendous foresight in reimagining this site as a modern outpatient facility. This project will serve the community for decades to come.”
Inspira Health Center Deptford offers a broad range of outpatient services, including primary care, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, and sports rehabilitation. Additional services, including Imaging by AMI at Inspira, Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care, and Cooper and Inspira Neuroscience, are planned to open at a later date. An ambulatory surgery center within the building is also under consideration.
Designed with patient comfort and efficiency in mind, the facility features an energy efficient layout that enhances patient flow and supports high quality clinical operations. The redevelopment incorporates a new glass facade, improved accessibility, and sustainable design elements, including a rooftop solar array.
The project began with the acquisition of the property in July 2021 and was completed in March 2024, with the official opening celebrated on April 23, 2024.
“Our work with Rendina was instrumental as we evaluated key locations within our ambulatory growth strategy,” said Warren E. Moore, FACHE, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Inspira Health. “The successful transformation of this site is now a model for future redevelopment opportunities as we continue to bring care closer to home.”
