Rendina Healthcare Real Estate Named One of Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work for Eighth Consecutive Year

Rendina Healthcare Real Estate has been named one of Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2026, marking the eighth consecutive year the firm has received this national recognition.

The annual Best Places to Work in Healthcare program honors outstanding employers across the healthcare industry that demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace culture, employee engagement, and professional development. Winners are selected through a comprehensive evaluation process that includes independent employee surveys and organizational assessments.

“Eight years of this recognition is not a streak that happens by accident,” said Richard M. Rendina, Chief Executive Officer of Rendina Healthcare Real Estate. “It is the result of a team that genuinely cares about the work we do, about the clients we serve, and about one another. I have always believed that a great company is built from the inside out. When our team members feel valued and supported, that energy carries through to everything we touch, from the relationships we build with healthcare providers to the communities we help serve.”

As Rendina approaches nearly four decades in business, the company continues to attract talented people, strengthen its partnerships, and find new ways to lead in healthcare real estate. Rendina remains committed to fostering a culture grounded in its Core Values, one that embraces collaboration, flexibility, and a shared drive to better serve clients and partners nationwide.

The 2026 Best Places to Work in Healthcare list highlights employers that prioritize employee wellbeing while advancing excellence across the healthcare industry. The full list of this year’s honorees is available at modernhealthcare.com.

“This achievement belongs to our entire team,” Richard M. Rendina added. “The connection between how we treat each other and the results we deliver is what sets Rendina apart, and it always has been. We are grateful for the dedication and passion our employees bring to their work every day and for their continued commitment to making Rendina a place where people are proud to work.”

Rendina Healthcare Real Estate and RWJBarnabas Health Celebrate Beam Signing for New Multi-Specialty Center in Howell, New Jersey

Rendina Healthcare Real Estate and RWJBarnabas Health raised the final steel beam of a new three-story, 67,000-square-foot Multi-Specialty Center at 783 Route 9 in Howell Township, New Jersey, on January 21, alongside joint venture partners New Jersey Imaging Network, Seaview Orthopaedics, and Family First Urgent Care.

The beam signing ceremony was attended by RWJBarnabas Health leadership — including Mark Manigan, President and CEO, RWJBarnabas Health; Eric Carney, President and CEO of Monmouth Medical Center; and Michael Prilutsky, Executive Vice President, Chief Executive Officer, RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group — along with clinicians and project partners, who added their signatures to the final beam before it was raised into place.

Construction is expected to be completed in late 2026 or early 2027. The facility will house an ambulatory surgery center and office space for New Jersey Imaging Network, Family First Urgent Care, and RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group’s heart and vascular providers, expanding access to multispecialty services for patients in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

“Our work with RWJBarnabas Health has always been focused on aligning real estate strategy with clinical goals,” said Richard M. Rendina, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rendina Healthcare Real Estate. “Today’s beam signing marks an important milestone in that effort as this facility takes shape. The project is part of an ongoing commitment to extend outpatient services into the community, making care more accessible while supporting RWJBarnabas Health’s long-term growth strategy.”

“This represents more than a construction milestone — it reflects RWJBarnabas Health moving forward on our mission to deliver world-class care in the communities we serve,” said Mark Manigan, President and CEO of RWJBarnabas Health. “This new facility will play a key role in delivering more convenient, connected outpatient and specialty care for patients in Central New Jersey.”

“This new Multi-Specialty Center is designed around the patient experience — bringing imaging, urgent care, surgery, and specialty services together in one location,” said Eric Carney, President and CEO of Monmouth Medical Center. “It will make it easier for individuals and families in the region to receive seamless, coordinated care close to home.”

This expansion further strengthens RWJBarnabas Health’s growing presence and investment in the region, including the recent openings of the Toms River West Ambulatory Surgery Center and a new School of Nursing in Oceanport.
